2026 NLV Financial Requirements
The amount depends on the total number of people applying. The main applicant must show 400% of IPREM, plus 100% for each qualifying family member.

Note: Regardless of package, each Additional Dependent will incur a service fee of €500.

Sworn translations are charged separately.
Government fees, insurance premiums, apostilles, legalizations, translations, medical certificates, criminal-record certificates, and third-party provider fees are not included unless expressly stated.

Can I work remotely on NLV?
No. The NLV does not authorize employment or professional activity, including remote work. If you intend to continue working, another residence route may be more appropriate.
Can I use savings or passive income?
Savings, pensions, investments, rental income, and other financial resources may form part of the documents to demonstrate sufficient financial means.
Can my family apply with me?
Qualifying family members may be included, subject to the applicable financial and documentation requirements.
Do I need private health insurance?
Applicants generally need health coverage that meets the requirements applicable to the NLV.
What is the difference between Basic and Plus?
Basic covers your initial application and first TIE. Plus also includes support for your first NLV renewal and the following TIE process.
