Yesterday, we successfully got 2 digital nomad residence authorizations approved for Spain! 🥳 The first approval was for an Azerbaijani freelancer who works for a US client via Upwork. A challenge we faced was the lack of officially recognized Azerbaijani to Spanish translators, but we managed to find a solution. 🇦🇿 The second approval was for a UAE resident contracted by a UK company. The complication here was that the UAE does not participate in the Apostille Convention, which simplifies document legalization. Therefore, we had to first get the documents verified by the UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and then have them officially recognized by the Spanish embassy in the UAE. 🇦🇪 Both applications were successful without any need for additional documents, and they were approved for the full duration of 3 years!
