Where Are UGE Applications Now?

September 30, 2026

Most early July applications had been resolved, while the majority of applications submitted in late July remained under administrative silence.

Lakbyte also recorded a higher volume of applications in July, which may help explain the larger number of cases that had reached administrative silence.

August Applications

August applications appeared to follow a similar pattern to July.

Some applications submitted earlier in the month had received resolutions. Many later submissions had either entered administrative silence or were awaiting the submission of additional documents.

September Applications

Applications submitted in September were still within their initial review window, which was expected at this stage.

Monitoring Pending Applications

For Lakbyte clients, our team continued monitoring individual applications and providing updates as they became available.

These observations reflect the status of Lakbyte-managed cases as of September 30, 2026. They should not be interpreted as guaranteed approval timelines.

UGE Processing Updates: Why Filing Dates Matter

September 25, 2026

Applicants who submitted their Digital Nomad Visa applications within a few weeks of each other may experience different processing timelines.

Based on Lakbyte's case data as of September 24, 2026, processing patterns varied depending on the filing month and the period within that month.

June 2026 Applications

All June applications within the reviewed Lakbyte cohort had been resolved, with each case approved.

July 2026 Applications

July showed a noticeable difference between early and late submissions.

Earlier July applications were still mostly receiving direct approvals, while the majority of late July applications had moved into administrative silence.

August 2026 Applications

August applications appeared to follow a similar pattern, several weeks behind July.

Some applications remained under standard review, while others were awaiting requests for additional documents.

September 2026 Applications

September applications were still relatively recent at the time of publication, making it too early to draw conclusions about processing trends.

What This Means for Applicants

Applicants should consider their own filing cohort rather than comparing their processing status with someone who submitted several weeks earlier or later.

The filing period provides important context when interpreting administrative silence and approval patterns.

Lakbyte continued tracking each client's application status and processing calendar.

Administrative Silence and TIE Appointment Availability

September 5, 2026

As of September 4, 2026, Lakbyte had 61 applications under administrative silence.

Once these applications received approvals, demand for TIE appointments could increase, potentially extending the waiting period for available appointments.

Planning for the TIE Process

Applicants approaching the next stage of their residence process may need to account for appointment availability when preparing their documentation and schedules.

TIE Assistance from Lakbyte

Lakbyte offers assistance with the TIE process, including preparing required documents and coordinating fingerprinting appointments at the police station.

The service is available to applicants whose DNV applications were handled by Lakbyte and those who prepared their applications independently.

Administrative Silence Update: 66 Pending DNV Applications

August 27, 2026

As of August 27, 2026, Lakbyte had 66 Digital Nomad Visa applications under administrative silence.

At that time, there was no confirmed timeline for when these applications would receive approvals.

The team continued monitoring each application and following up with the relevant authorities as necessary.

What Applicants Should Know

Applicants whose cases had reached administrative silence could review Lakbyte's recent case data for additional context on approval timelines.

However, individual application timelines may differ, and historical case observations should not be treated as a confirmed prediction of when a particular case will be resolved.

Continued Case Monitoring

Lakbyte continued communicating with affected clients and providing updates when official developments became available.

What Lakbyte's Recent Case Data Shows About DNV Administrative Silence

August 20, 2026

Lakbyte's recent application data provided a closer look at processing timelines and administrative silence across Digital Nomad Visa applications filed between April and July 2026.

The observations highlighted differences between main applicants and dependents, as well as changes in processing activity across filing cohorts.

Where Were UGE Applications at the Time?

May and early June filings were largely resolved, while July submissions were still being processed.

The data indicated that applicants should compare cases within similar filing periods rather than assuming the same timelines applied across different months.

Who Was Reaching Administrative Silence?

Administrative silence was not affecting main applicants and dependents equally.

Based on Lakbyte's April to July data, dependent applications were considerably more likely to reach administrative silence than main applications.

A larger proportion of main applicants had received direct resolutions.

Processing Timelines for Main Applicants

According to Lakbyte's case data, 87% of main applicants received direct approvals within the first four to five weeks after filing, without entering administrative silence.

However, the team was also observing a developing pattern in which more main applicants were reaching administrative silence.

Processing Timelines for Dependents

Dependent applications generally followed a later timeline.

In the reviewed data, spouses and children typically received decisions approximately four weeks after the main applicant.

Most dependent approvals were observed between weeks seven and ten after filing.

Were Administrative Silence Cases Taking Longer?

Recent observations suggested that some administrative silence cases were experiencing longer processing periods.

These figures were based on Lakbyte-managed applications and reflected the filing cohorts available at the time.

Processing timelines may vary based on filing date, applicant type, requests for additional documents, individual case circumstances, and UGE processing activity. The figures do not guarantee outcomes or approval dates.

What Happened Next?

The team continued reviewing each case, conducting follow-ups when necessary, and communicating with clients while awaiting official updates.

This report reflected the position of the affected applications as of July 8, 2026.
